Tesla released its design of the interface between the electric vehicle and the charging connector as the North American Charging Standard (NACS) in November 2022. In mid-2023, numerous car manufacturers such as Ford, GM, Volvo and many more decided to use the NACS interface for the North American market in the future instead of the previous Combined Charging System (CCS) – the technical advantages of NACS outweigh.
